Dividend Income Update – April 2015

This is my favorite post as it shows the progress being made from the real dividends income from the blue-chip companies. Its is a small amount but it inspires me to keep at it and hopefully to readers.

Here are the companies from where I received the dividends:

American Capital Agency (AGNC): $1.13
GlaxoSmithKline(GSK): $5.68
Altria Group, Inc. (MO): $6.30
Phillip Morris Inc. (PM): $4.93

Total Dividends: $18.04

My revised target for this year is $150, up from $100 and so far I’ve received a total sum of $54.71.

Disclosure: Long AGNC, GSK, MO, PM.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for sharing your recent dividend income update with us. Some solid names I like and one I wouldn’t buy for my portfolio (AGNC). Keep collecting those dividends.

      Hi DivHut,

Thanks for stopping by! AGNC looks risky with current yield however, I wanted to balance low yielding ones with higher ones to juice up the overall yield. Most of the companies are blue chips and rock solid. I follow your blog and like it very much. Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.
