Dividend Income Update – March 2016

This is my favorite post as it shows the progress being made from the real dividends income from the blue-chip companies. Its is a small amount but it inspires to keep at it and hopefully to readers.

Here are the companies from where I received the dividends:

American Capital Agency (AGNC): $1.11
BP plc – ADR (BP): $6.18
ConocoPhillips (COP): $2.34
iShares Emerging Mkts (DVYE): $0.23
Intel Corp. (INTC): $1.08
McDonald Corp. (MCD): $0.98
Royal Dutch Shell plc ADR  (RDS.A): $4.64

Total Dividends: $16.56

My target for this year is $100 and so far I’ve received a total sum of $36.67.

Disclosure: Long AGNC, BP, COP, DVYE, INTC, MCD, RDS.A.

Thanks for reading.

  1. $16.56 ain’t bad for a month’s work. A month’s work that you didn’t really have to work for! Keep up the pace and you should reach your goal for the year.

      Hi Dividend Reaper,

That’s right. This is the income that I do not need to work for. My goal is modest and so, I hope to achieve it. Appreciate stopping by and commenting!

  2. Looks like you’re right on target. I suspect you will beat $100 by a few dollars even if you don’t add any more new shares. Dividend increases should get you there. Keep up the good work.
